About the Doctors

Kevin L. Denis, DDS, MS

Dr. Kevin Denis has been creating beautiful smiles since 1985. He earned his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed two years of orthodontic specialty training at the University of Minnesota, earning a master’s degree and certificate in orthodontics.  Dr. Denis has published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

In addition to his private practice in Maplewood and Lindstrom, Dr. Denis has served as Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Orthodontics and is currently a consultant for the University of Minnesota Cleft Palate Team Clinic. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists, serving as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, President Elect and President for that organization.  He is currently serving as the MAO's director to the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists and volunteers on the Board of Smiles Change Lives. 

Dr. Denis resides in Mahtomedi, Minnesota.

Kristin R. Lundquist, DDS

Dr. Kristin Lundquist joined Dr. Denis in private practice in 1988. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific and completed orthodontic training at the University of Minnesota as well as a residency in Oral Pathology at the University of Iowa.

Dr. Lundquist resides in Mahtomedi, Minnesota and is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists.

 

John P. Beyer, DDS, PhD

Dr. John Beyer has been providing outstanding orthodontic care since 1997. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Certificate of Orthodontics and Ph.D. in Oral Biology from the University of Minnesota. During that time he was selected for Omicron Kappa Upsilon and was awarded the Dentist-Scientist Training Grant.

Dr. Beyer has served in several faculty positions at the University of Minnesota including Assistant Professor (Department of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences), Co-director (Division of Orthodontics, Graduate Program), and Associate Clinical Specialist (Department of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences). He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Orthodontics, Department of Developmental and Surgical Sciences.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Beyer is also a member of many professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Minnesota Association of Orthodontists, American Association for Dental Research, and the American Dental Education Association.

He is a published author and speaker, and gives back to the community by volunteering with Smiles Change Lives.
